It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you to the formal launching of the California Diversity Council. Our initial Board of Directors is currently busy establishing a solid foundation upon which we intend to build a progressive and impactful diversity organization for all of California. We plan to contribute to the significant advancement of diversity and inclusion within our organizations and communities, and empower individuals with the knowledge and tools to make it happen.

The relational world is more than changing – it is demanding a revolutionary shift in the models of successful collaboration on virtually every level. This represents a rich opportunity. The sheer complexity of our times is causing a growing desire for greater collaboration between individuals, states, and nations, and this is a great time for diversity and inclusion champions to respond with a renewed enthusiasm. Together we can create deeper and wiser strategies for success. Anything less will not adequately meet the current and future times we are living in, and this is precisely the conversation that the California Diversity Council will help to lead in California.
